Brenda Yip, Dr. TCM

Brenda is a highly qualified practitioner in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM),a registered Dr. TCM, specializing in acupuncture and herbal medicine. Following her passion for holistic health and healing, she embarked on a dedicated path of continuous learning. Since 2016, she has pursued comprehensive training in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (TCMP), and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr. TCM) programs at PCU Holistic College.

Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Brenda bridges language and cultural gaps to offer her expertise in TCM. Her approach to healthcare is rooted in the holistic principles of TCM to strengthen one’s immune system for overall well-being.  She is particularly skilled in addressing digestive issues, insomnia, and mood disorders. Brenda employs various TCM modalities, including acupuncture, cupping, Tuina, Acupressure, and Gua sha to effectively treat musculoskeletal disorders, as well as frozen shoulder, sciatica, neck range of motion, TMJ, headache/migraine, and for ICBC patients. In the realm of beauty and rejuvenation, she utilizes facial acupuncture techniques to reduce wrinkles/lines, dark circles, eye bags, and achieve a natural face lift.  Brenda is also an advocate for the therapeutic potential of Shiliao, or food therapy, as a preventive measure against chronic diseases.

 

Brenda is a firm believer in the importance of balance and harmony when it comes to healthcare. Her specialties are internal conditions and menstruation issues which she combines with Chinese raw/granulated herbs.
